长征二号E火箭有效载荷整流罩分离技术

摘　　要：长征二号E运载火箭使用大型整流罩。由于大型整流罩的刚度较差、弹性变形较大,它的连接、解锁、分离都有一定的难度。长征二号E火箭的整流罩,采用“平移-翻转”分离方法。该方法与常规的蚌壳式分离方法不同,利用爆炸螺栓和导爆索为整流罩解锁,半罩平移15mm后,在弹簧力矩作用下绕铰链轴翻转,解决了半罩平移运动的碰撞与弹性变形问题。该分离方法经过飞行检验,获得成功。Large payload fairings, due to their poor stiffness and significant elastic deformation when loaded, are difficult to design in respect of connection , disconnection and separation. A large pay-load fairing, 4. 2m in diameter, is used on Chinas new heavy-lift launch vehicle Long March 2E. Halves of the fairing, which is different from the conventional clamshell type, are disconnected from the rocket by use of frangible bolts and from each other by use of mild detonating cords , and rotated on the pivot pins after translating 15mm. The separation mechanism proved perfect in ground tests and flights of the launch vehicle. Design and test results of the separation system are given in this paper.
