摘　　要：城市边缘区是城市建成区与广大乡村地区相连接的部位,是城市环境空间的过渡地带,是城市外延的发展用地,是城乡建设的最敏感区.笔者对城市边缘区的基本概念做了简要的论述,在分析了我国边缘区特点及发展现状的基础上,探讨了中国城市边缘区发展的相应对策.Urban fringe area is the place between the urban district and the extensive rural area and the transition zone of urban environmental space, it is the developmental useful area of urban extension and the most sensitive area of urban-rural construction. The basic concept of urban fringe area is discussed briefly and the relevant strategies of Chinese urban fringe area development are probed into on the basis of a analysis of the characteristics of Chinese urban fringe area and development present status.
