摘　　要：魏源(1794—1857年)是近代初期的思想家、史学家、经学家。其编著的《海国图志》是极负盛名的介绍世界历史、地理的巨著,对近代中国社会的近代化产生过很大的影响。Wei Yuan(1794-1857)was a thinker, historian and scholar of study of Confucian classics of the earlier stage of Chinese modern times. The book of Illustrated Annals of Overseas Countries which was compiled by Wei Yuan is of great significance which describs the world history, geography, and gives great influence to Chinese society modernized.
