摘  要:阐述了一种基于 FPGA芯片的硬盘数据加密硬件实现方法。首先分析了计算机硬盘工作机制及其接口技术 ,然后 ,基于现代数据加密技术和 FPGA实现方法 ,设计了一种既适用于常用对称加密算法 ( DES、3DES、AES) ,又适用于用户自主开发的各种对称加密算法的数据流硬加密逻辑结构。最后依照这种逻辑结构实现了硬盘数据硬件加密卡 ,实现对计算机硬盘数据透明加密。实验与测试结果符合计算机硬盘数据加密的要求。According to the Computer Crime & Security Survey (2002, Computer Security Institute, USA), hard disk data divulgence due to laptop and hard disk theft has already ranked the second information safety issue next to computer viruses. In this paper, we propose a method of designing and implementing hard disk data encryption. First, we analyze computer hard disk operation and its interface techniques, and present a mechanism of implementing hard disk data encryption, which can encrypt the hard disk data on lower bit level. Then, based on modern cryptography and FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) technologies, we design a logic hardware structure of hard disk data encryption,as shown in Fig.2. This structure can support both well-known symmetric encryption algorithms (DES, 3DES, AES) and any other proprietary symmetric encryption algorithms. Finally, a hard disk encryption card is implemented using two FPGA chips; its functional diagram is shown in Fig.4. This hardware card can be used to protect all kinds of hard disks, no matter what kind of operating system is run by the computer. Moreover, the encrypting process is transparent to authorized users. The testing and experimental results show that it meets the throughput requirements of high-speed hard disks, and can be used to securely protect data stored on computer hard disks.
