摘　　要：流量发生器是一种可以产生特定类型、特定长度、特定速率的帧 ,并对网络的总体流量和利用率等参数进行统计的工具。本文介绍了一个应用于以太网的流量发生器的软件实现原理和实现方法。A traffic generator is one, which can generate special type, special length and special speed frames and then calculate the total network utilization, network frame speed, etc. This paper introduced the theory and method of the traffic generator′s software realization over Ethernet based on VxWorks.
