摘　　要：在讨论 L DA P的 4个基本模型的基础上 ,分析了传统的邮件系统在满足大客户量性能方面存在的缺陷。在此基础上 ,设计了一个基于 L DAP协议的邮件系统 ;并在 L inux操作系统下利用 Open L DA P,A pache,PHP等自由软件实现了一个采用 3层结构模型将 Web访问技术与目录服务相结合 ,基于 Web的目录服务的基本邮件原型系统。This article discusses lightweight directory access protocol (LDAP). After introducing LDAP′s definition model, the article analyzing the defects of legacy mail system, and how distributed Webmail system based on LDAP improves system performance. Then the paper gives a designation and implementation of a trial system. In the system, user′s information is stored in LDAP server. The program is realized by PHP, OpenLDAP on Linux. As a result, this system has the advantage of appropriate expansion, security and good performance.
