摘　　要：彭翼仲是中国新闻史上很有影响的一位报人。他的一生事迹,和他的办报活动,都颇具戏剧性。有一定的传奇色彩。他的办报活动很有特色。不仅在二十世纪初期的新闻界和他的受众中起过重大影响,对今天的新闻工作者,也有一定的启迪作用。他是一个值得纪念的历史人物。As an outstanding newspapermen in the history of Chinese journalism, Peng Jizhong is a dramatic figure. His personal experience and newspaper activities not only influenced both journalist circle and readers during the beginning of the 20th century, but also has inspired jour-nalists of the present day. Peng should be remembered.
