摘　　要：一、历史及现状 上猎蝽属Coranus系Curtis 1833年据Cimes subapterus De Geer,1733所建。百余年来经Stal(1874)、Reuter(1881)、Jakovlev(1883,1904)、Horvath(1902)、Distant(1903)、Miller(1940,1941,1950,1951,1954,1956)、Villiers(1948,1954,1963,1964,1965)、Dispons(1953,1963)、Putshkov(1982,1987)、萧采瑜(1979,1981)、任树芝(1981,1984)、Malipatil(1986)等众多学者的致力研究,使本属种类剧增而居真猎蝽亚科中大属之列。Coranus Curtis is a large genus with 96 described species from all zoogeographical regions. The genus is predominantly Paleartic (30), Ethiopian (41),Oriental (17), and Australian (17) in distribution, with the largest number of species occuring in Paleartic and Ethiopian regions. Almost all species have restricted ranges. None has been reported from the Western Hemisphere, i.e., Neoartic and Neotropic regions as far as is known.Prior to this study the genus was represented in China by 14 described species. In the present paper, the distribution characters of the genus are discussed. Coranus chow. sp.nov. and C. stenopygns are described or redescribed, and well illustrated. The type specimen is deposited in the Entomological Museum of the Northwestern Agricultural University, Yangling, Shaanxi, China. All the measurements are in millimeters.The new species may be diagnosed as follows.Coranus choui Lu et Cai, sp.nov.Black. Central longitudinal line on back of posterior lobe of head, median longitudinal impression of anterior pronotal lobe, lateral margin stipe of posterior pronotal lobe,corium, connected part of pleura with coxa reddish-fuscescent. 2nd antennal segment fuscescent, its basal and apical part black. Femora with reddish-yellow spots. Fore tibiae black, middle tibiae blackish-fuscescent, and hind tibiae fuscescent; basal part of tibiae with two reddish-yellow annulations and one black, apical part of middle tibiae and hind tibiae black. Tarsus blackish-fuscescent. Apical 1/2 of connexival segments red-yellowish (basal 1/2 black). Dorsal and ventral sterna black.(?) , Total length 13, width of abdomen 3.5. Ventral side of body, 1st rostral segment and legs clothed with silvery soft hairs; dorsal side of head and pronotum clothed with grayish-fuscescent short hairs. Length of head 2.6; length of antennal segments Ⅰ :Ⅱ :Ⅲ: Ⅳ:Ⅴ =0.3:2.9:0.75:1.4:?(missing).
