摘　　要：本文记述花金龟科背角花金龟属(Neophaedimus)一新种,标本采自我国江苏、浙江。模式标本保存在中国科学院动物研究所。 栗色背角花金龟Neophaedimus castaneus新种 体型较狭长,光亮,沥褐或沥红色,前胸背板无黄斑(图1),臀板、腹面和腿节内侧多是沥红色。The present paper deals with one new species of the cetoniid genus Neophaedimus Lucas. All types are preserved in the institute of Zoology, Academia Sinica, Beijing. Neophaedimus castaneus sp. nov.Body length: 20-23.8 mm; width: 10-13 mm.Resembles Neophaedimus auzouxi Lucas, but distinguished by the smaller in size, very shining, and upper surface piceusbrown in colour; the clypeus of male broader, front angles acute in shape, the bifid clypeal horn divergent broadly (figs. 2, 6), basal horn of head absent, the male genitalia different in shape, shown as in figures 3-4, 7-8.Holotype (?), Tienmushan, Zhejiang Province. 21, Ⅶ. 1936; allotype (?), same as holotype. Paratypes: 2(?), same as holotype; 1(?), Huashan, 'Fenxian County of Province Jiangsu, 2, Ⅷ. 1936.
