摘　　要：本文从市场和用户需求出发,剖析了传统以太网作为城域网建网模式的优点及不足。通过对城域以太网体系架构和标准草案进展的阐述,重点介绍了城域以太网业务模型、基于VPLS/VPWS的城域以太网技术以及相应的解决方案。This paper analyses the excellences and shortages of Ethernet as network mode of MAN from demands of user on marketing.The system and standard drafts of metro Ethernet are expatiated in detail and the service mode,technologies&solutions of VPLS/VPWS-based of metro Ethernet are also described with emphasis.
