摘　　要：推进亚太多边安全合作是为维护亚太地区长久和平的战略性举措.亚太地区安全形势总体稳定、大国关系日趋改善,亚太多边安全合作起步虽较晚,但发展的势头良好.与此同时,由于亚太地区地广国多,安全形势复杂多变,推进亚太多边安全合作也面临着一系列严峻的挑战.Senior Researcher of China Institute for International Strategic Studies and Guest Researcher of CPDS. Enhancing multilateral security is the strategic measure for maintaining long-standing peace in the Asia-Pacific region. The general security situation in the Asia-Pacific is comparatively stable. The relationship among major powers is improving steadily. Although multilateral security cooperation in the Asia-Pacific started rather late, the momentum of development is fairly good. At the same time, given the complicated and changeable security situation in Asia Pacific which is a vast area with many countries, enhancing multilateral security cooperation is faced with a series of severe challenges.
