摘　　要：20世纪上半叶 ,近代北京书业有了长足发展和结构性变化 ,从而为现代北京书业的发展奠定了基础。本文着重从北京近代经济、文化教育等方面 ,分析书业发展与城市近代化之间的关系 ,指出“近代北京书业发展的动因在于北京城市的近代化进程”。During the first half of the 20th century,modern book business in Beijing experienced quick development and structural changes. By analyzing the relationship between the business and modernizations of the city,especially the economic,cultural and educational development of the city,the author reaches the conclusion that modernization was the motive force of modern Beijing book business development.
