摘　　要：计算机辅助地图制图使地图学产生了深刻的技术革命 ,数字制图技术使地图从阅读、分析、处理、使用 ,到表现形式、制作出版等都发生了巨大的变化 ,全球定位系统、数字摄影测量、遥感技术、地理信息系统的发展 ,又使数字地图制图面临新的机遇和挑战。本文论述了数字地图制图的理论基础、技术方法与传统地图制图的关系和数字地图制图的应用及发展前景。Map drafting assisted by computer have brought about a deep technical revolution in cartography.Tremendous changes have taken place in digital drafting technology on reading, analysis, disposing, operation, manifestation, manufacturing and publishing.As development of global positioning system, Digital photo-grammetry, remote sensing technology, geographic information system and digital map charting will be also faced with a new opportunity and challenge.This paper discusses the theoretical and technological basis of digital map, and relationship with traditional map drafting, use and the developing prospects of digital map charting.
