摘　　要：本文分析6655例老年人的急症就诊率为8.4％,死亡率为6.2％。在24小时中以傍晚(16:00～19:59)就诊率最高,占50％;与青年组比较有显著差异。主诉中以晕倒、尿潴留、哮喘和晚期癌肿,与青年组比较差异显著。亦就老年人急症医疗保护问题提出一些建议。During 1978, 6655 elderly patients visited the emergency department of Zhongshanhospital were reviewed. The age of patients ranged from 60-89 years, and accounts8.4% of the patients visiting to the emergency department. The mortality rate was6.2%, About 50% of the elderly patient came to the emergency room in the eveningwith statistical significance. Elderly patients had the frequent complaints of Synco-ppe, retention of urine, asthma, late stage of carcinoma as compaicd with the you-nger patients and the difference was also statistically significant. Problnms in theemergency medical care of the elderly were discussed and suggestions were made.
