摘　　要：对电子商务及其在铁路中的应用问题进行探讨,着重分析了电子商务对传统铁路运输的影响和挑战;探讨了应用电子商务技术提升铁路运输业竞争能力的必要性,铁路电子商务系统建设的内容和方式;对影响铁路电子商务建设的信息基础设施和相关社会法律问题提出了一些建议。The essay explores the E-commerce and its application in railway, analyzes the affection and challenge of E-commerce on the traditional railway transportation; discusses the necessity of improving the competitiveness of railwaytransportation industry by application of E-commerce, and the content and method of constructing the E-commerce system; andputs forward some suggestions on information infrastructure equipment and relative social law that affect the construction ofrailway E-commerce.
