摘　　要：通过对英语专业文献检索课教学现状的分析,阐明了在信息技术突飞猛进,网络日渐普及的新时期高校开设这门课程的必要性,并在较之传统的具体课程内容设置的创新模式上进行了详细阐述。This paper analyzes on the present situation of the teaching of the literature retrieval course of English major, expounds the necessity of establis hing the literature retrieval course of English major in the new period that the information technique advances by leaps and bounds and the network is populariz ed day by day, and describes the innovative mode of its concrete contents compar ed with the traditional one.
