摘　　要：详细论述了存在于氟化物玻璃光纤中的散时缺陷所引起的非本征散射损耗,计算并讨论了它与波长及缺陷尺寸的关系,得出了一些有益的结论.In this paper, the extrinsic scattering loss induced by the defects in fluoride fiber has been described in detail. The relationship among the extrinsic scattering; loss and the optical wavelength and size of defects has been discussed and some new concl usions have been drawn. These work leads to some directions for improving the fiber drawing technique and decreasing the fiber loss.
