摘　　要：超薄白色罩面是20世纪90年代初在美国兴起的一种沥青路面维修新技术。其特点是罩面薄,接缝间距短,与旧沥青层具有较强的粘结力,而且开放交通早,适用于因起动、刹车造成车辙、拥包等功能性破坏严重的交通繁忙地带沥青路面罩面。为了研究半刚性基层沥青路面上超薄白色罩面的路用性能,我国第一条超薄白色罩面的室内试验路在长沙理工大学的直线式路面加速加载实验室中完成。Ultra-Thin Whitetopping (UTW) is a new method of rehabilitating asphalt pavement,developed in the early 1990's.This technique requires bonding to the under-lying asphalt,constructed in thinner concrete with shorter joint distance than the conventional concrete overlay.UTW can be constructed rapidly with little impact on road traffic.It is used in the spots easy to be deteriorated caused by starting braking,such as the intersections,parking lots,airport and so on.For the purpose of investigating the performance of UTW on semi-rigid-based asphalt pavement,the first Ultra-Thin Whitetopping project in China was accomplished on the Linear Accelerated Loading Facilities in Changsha University of Science and Technology.
