摘　　要：人工生命是一类具有生命特征 ,以自适应、自组织为主要特征的一类复杂系统 ,其研究成果可广泛用于生物学及计算机科学等许多工程领域。文中介绍了人工生命的产生背景、定义、研究内容、研究方法、理论基础、研究意义及与人工智能等相关学科的区别 ,以便全面深入地理解它。Artificial life is a complex system with behaves like a natural life, and with basic behaviors such as self-adaptation, self-organization, and its research achievement can be used widely in biology and a lot of engineering domain such as computer science. This paper introduces its background,definition, contents of research, methods of research , theoretic foundation,the significance of research, and the difference with other related subjects such as artificial intelligence in order to understand it completely and deeply.
