摘　　要：HFC(混合光纤同轴电缆网)是一种发展前景广阔的通信技术,它强大的功能和高度的灵活性,已经使之成为有线电视(CATV)和电信服务供应商的首选技术。由于HFC结构和现有CATV电视网络结构相似,所以有线电视网络公司对 IIFC特别青睐,他们非常希望这一利器可以帮助他们在未来多种服务竞争局面下获得现有的电信服务供应商似的地位。HFC (hybrid fiber / coax network) is a kind of communication technology with broad development prospect. The good functions and high flexibility has made it first option of suppliers of CATV and telecom services. As HFC has a similar structure with that of current CATV video network, CATV companies have shown favor for HFC and hope, with the help of HFC, to get the same status as the current suppliers of telecom services in the future competition of many kinds of services
