摘　　要：人工生命是一类具有生命特征的系统 ,是以自适应、自组织为主要特征的一类复杂系统。介绍了人工生命的产生背景、定义、研究内容、研究方法及研究的注意事项、理论基础。Artificial life is a complex system which behaves like a natural 1ife with such basic behaviors as self-adaptation, self-organization. This paper introduces its background,definition, contents, methods of research,its theoretic foundation,the significance of research and the difference with other related subjects such as artificial intelligence, and points out what should be paid attention to in researching artificial life.
