摘　　要：薛宝钗是封建社会中一位典型的淑女形象 ,在她身上我们确实能够看到许多美的东西 ,天资聪慧 ,容艳貌美 ,知书达礼 ,雍容华贵 ;但她毕竟深受封建正统思想、封建制度和封建礼教的毒害 ,她的人生价值观和社会伦理观造成了她一生不可避免的悲剧命运。本文通过对薛宝钗美丑两个方面的对照分析 ,诠释薛宝钗这个艺术形象的批判意义。Xue Bao-chai was a typical figure of fair maiden in the feudal society,and many merits can be found from this personage, such as intelligent by nature,charming on appearance, understanding and reasonable, elegant and poised and so on. However she had been atrociously injured by feudal orthodox ideology, system and etiquette.It was her outlook of life and social moral principles that made her inevitable tragedy fate and a viction of feudal system and etiquette.In this paper,the criticized meaning of Xue Bao-chai's artistic figure is interpreted by contrast analysis from positive and negative sides.
