摘　　要：以太网上联卡是以 A TM技术为内核的 DSL AM设备中的一块板卡 ,DSL AM设备通过他直接与 IP网络相连 ,由于在进行 ATM与 IP转换时要消耗大量资源 ,容易使上联卡成为系统瓶颈。本文提出了一种基于网络处理器 IXP12 0 0的以太网上联卡设计方案 ,利用网络处理器强大的数据处理能力和高度灵活性 ,实现对数据的线速处理 。Wan Card,supported by ATM technology, is used in DSLAM (Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer) system. DSLAM system utilizes this card to connect with IP network. Bridging IP packets between ATM and Ethernet network requires a great deal of resource, therefore, it′s easy to lead to the bottleneck of system. The article introduces a new design of wan card based on IXP1200 network processor. The design, which makes full use of the strong capability of processing data and flexibility of network processor, realizes it and we can depend on requests to add new functions and characteristics.
