质的考辩——对质作为一种“内部规定性”的质疑

摘　　要：质是欧洲哲学史上的一个重要范畴。黑格尔在哲学史上第一次对质作出了准确的界定。马克思、恩格斯及列宁以此定义为基础,对质作了精辟的阐述。国内出版的绝大多数辞典和马克思主义哲学教科书把质定义为一种“内部的规定性”,这是不符合理论的逻辑要求和马克思的原意的。实际上,质应该定义为与事物存在同一的,并将一物区别于他物的直接规定性。Quality is an important category in European philosophy history. Hegel was the first person who gave a precise definition to it. On the basis of this, Marx, Engles and Lelin made a brilliant exposition of it. Most of dictionaries published domestically and Marxist philosophy textbooks define quality as a kind of 'internal stipulation', which is not keeping with the theoretically logical demands and the original intention of Marx. In fact, quality should be defined as direct stipulation that is identified with object existence and distinguishs one from another.
