摘　　要：城市化不能仅仅理解为城市人口比重的提高,城市化应是在城市聚集人流、物流、资金流和信息流,聚集主导产业,聚集科技、教育和文化。从城市化的这一新内涵出发,本文提出了推进惠州城市化进程的若干建议和对策。Wrbanization cannot be comprehended only as the increase in the percentage of the wrban population.Urbanization should be comprehended as the flow of people,logistics,capitals and information in the city,which is focused on the mainline industries,on science and technology as well as on education and culture.Analysis from the new denotation of the wrbanization,the paper puts forward the suggestions and measures of speeding up the process of wrbanization in Huizhou.
