摘　　要：流量模型是流量预测和网络性能评价的基础。好的流量模型必须能够准确描述网络实际流量的特征情况,这样才能准确预测流量状况。然而近年来研究发现网络流量具有自相似性,传统的基于泊松分布的流量模型已不能很好地表述这一特征。根据流量的不同相关特性,介绍了当前网络应用的典型模型,对它们的特点进行了分析论述。Traffic models are crucial to traffic predication and performance evaluation of networks. A good traffic model must be able to describe network traffic characteristics and predict the practical traffic condition accurately. Recently much research shows that many kinds of network traffics are self-similar,which can't be described accurately by traditional traffic models based on Poisson distribution. This paper,according to different correlation characteristics of traffic, introduces typical network traffic models and analyze their respective characteristics.
