摘　　要：自从 2 0 0 0年 4月ElsevierScience出版集团在清华大学图书馆和上海交通大学图书馆建立电子期刊镜像服务器以来 ,这种基于镜像服务器的电子期刊服务方式在用户中得到了普及。本文探讨了通过建立镜像服务器利用电子期刊的优点 ,介绍了清华大学图书馆在维护多个镜像服务器和推动电子期刊服务和其他相关服务方面的经验 ,并给出了原服务器和镜像服务器在内容缺失性和滞后性方面的解决方案。Since Elsevier Science Publishing Group established its mirror sites of electronic journals at Tsinghua University Library and Shanghai Jiaotong University Library in April of 2000,the service paradigm of electronic journals based on mirror sites has been popularized by users.This article discusses the advantages of setting up mirror sites for the use of electronic journals,introduces the experiences of Tsinghua University Library in maintaining a cluster of mirror sites and in promoting electronic journals and other related services,and describes how to solve the content differences and delays between the original sites and mirror sites.
