摘　　要：在 实践 的基 础上 ，从 期 刊的 出 版日 期、出版 周期 、卷 、期、年、月 及 其他 标 识、ＩＳＳＮ 、增 刊 、出 版者 以及 期 刊的 历 史发 展等 方 面对 西文 期 刊机 读目 录 的标 准化 著 录问 题进行 了 探讨 。B ased on construction ofwestern language periodicaldatabases,this paperdiscusses on the norm alization of the description of m achine -readable catalogue of western language periodical including the publishing date,the pub- lishing frequency,the volum e num ber,the issue num ber,the year,the m onth and other identifiers,ISSN ,supplem ent, publisher and the course ofthe change and developm ent of the periodical.
