摘　　要：采用PowerBuilder和LotusDomino/NotesR5设计的版社管理信息系统由编辑、出版、发行、财务、综合查询和办公自动化子系统组成。数据库系统分为前台客户、应用程序和后台服务器3部分。应用程序和服务器通过网络连接,客户端发出服务请求,服务器返回请求结果。它既可在客户端使用,管理和操作本地数据库,也可与服务器上的Oracle、Sybase等数据库连接,作为数据库的前端开发工具。Publish management information system designed with PowerBuilder and Lotus Domino/Notes R5 is composed of some subsystems such as edit, publish, issue, financial affairs, integration query and OA subsystem. Data system consists of client on the stage, applications background server. Applications is connected to background server through network, client-side sends service request and server returns request result to client-side. Applications not only are run in client-side to manage and control local database, but also it is connected to Oracle、Sybase database in server, and used as a tool for developing database on the stage.
