摘　　要：蛋氨酸合成酶还原酶是蛋氨酸合成酶所必需的黄素蛋白。该基因大小约为 34kb ,包含 1 5个外显子。蛋氨酸合成酶还原酶催化甲基钴胺再生 ,是蛋氨酸合成酶的辅助因子 ,对于维持同型半胱氨酸在无毒性水平有重要作用 。Methionine synthase reductase is a flavoprotein essential for maintenance of methionine synthase. The gene is approximateiy 34 kb and comprises 15 exons. Methionine synthase reductase catalyzes the regeneration of methylcobalamin, a cofactor of methionine synthase,an enzyme essential for maintaining homocysteine concentrations at nontoxic levels,and elevated total plasma homocysteine has been established as an independent risk factor for cardiovascular disease.
