This review summarizes the latest developments in the treatment of common pathogens associated with SCAP, including bacterial, viral, and fungal etiologies. It examines the evolving trends in antimicrobial drug resistance and discusses optimal treatment strategies, including antibiotic selection, combination therapy, and adjunctive therapy. Additionally, the review emphasizes the importance of personalized treatment approaches based on individual patient differences and regional epidemiology in improving outcomes in SCAP management.
