从合作原则与礼貌原则看《当幸福来敲门》中的会话含义

摘　　要：《当幸福来敲门》讲述了一位名叫克里斯·加德纳的销售员在妻子离家出走、工作不顺、居无定所等种种困难打压下,他独自带着儿子追求幸福,最后终于成为一名成功的股市交易员的励志故事。本文选取《当幸福来敲门》中的人物会话,从合作原则以及礼貌原则的角度分析其会话含义,并认为交际者有时候选择遵守礼貌原则而违反合作原则是出于特定目的,如此也能促进沟通。依据合作原则和礼貌原则分析《当幸福来敲门》中的人物会话含义,可以加深人们对该影片中人物性格的理解,也给人们在现实生活中如何更加高效沟通提供启示。“The Pursuit of Happyness” tells the inspiring story of Chris Gardner, a salesman whose wife runs away from home. Although he doesn’t have a good job and has no place to live, he still pursues happiness alone with his son and finally becomes a successful stock market trader. This study selects the conversations of characters in “The Pursuit of Happyness” and analyzes their conversational implicature from the perspectives of the Cooperative Principle and the Polite Principle. Sometimes communicators choose to abide by the Polite Principle and violate the cooperative Principle for specific purposes and better communication. Analyzing the conversational implicature of the characters in “The Pursuit of Happyness” based on the Cooperative Principle and Politeness Principle can deepen people’s understanding of characters and enlighten people on how to communicate more effectively in real life.
