摘  要:英文摘要在读者获取信息和学术交流时至关重要。本文对比研究学习者英文摘要语料库表明,中外学习者的英文摘要共性和差异明显。总体上,中外学习者摘要的语步均不完整,有逆序情况,而且在语步使用方面有明显的偏好,但中外学习者在使用三、四语步总体上没有明显差异。研究也表明,摘要语步结构缺失、必选或可选语步均与学科有密切的关系。在语言学类、文学和教学类摘要中,中外学习者摘要的差异表现在研究背景语步和研究方法语步,研究结果语步是各学科摘要的共用语步。二语写作教学应强调摘要的宏观结构和学科差异性,使学习者了解摘要语篇的总体结构,从而使摘要写作更加符合国际学术规范。English abstracts play a vital role in information access and academic exchange. In this paper, a contrastive study of learners’ English thesis abstracts corpora demonstrates that English abstracts by Chinese and non-Chinese writers have significant similarities and differences. The abstracts written by both groups of writers lack integrity and are in some cases reversed in move sequence. Both groups of writers have pronounced preferences for choosing moves in composing abstracts;however, there exists no obvious difference in three-move and four-move structures. The research on abstracts proves that move integrity and option depend largely on the disciplines of abstracts. In the disciplines of linguistics, literature and pedagogy, the abstracts written by Chinese and non-Chinese writers display significant differences in the moves regarding research background and research methodology while the abstracts of the two categories share similarities in adopting the move showing research results. It is suggested that second language teaching should emphasize the differences in abstracts’ macro-structure and disciplines to enable learners to master the overall discourse structure, so as to write abstracts in compliance with international norms of academic writing.
