摘  要:本文调查了英语专业大二年级100名学生英文摘要的写作,旨在为改进大学生英语摘要写作教学提出切实可行的建议,并为进一步探讨大学生的思维能力特点提供一些数据。根据卢建梅提出的摘要写作参数及评分标准:客观性、平衡性、连贯性、完整性、简洁性,分析学生综合概括能力的特点和存在的问题。研究发现,学生对客观性、简洁性和连贯性把握较好,客观性处于中等水平以上,简洁性处于中等水平以上,连贯性处于中等水平以上,平衡性和完整性把握较差。这一发现不仅为分析当前大学生的抽象思维能力特征提供了实证依据,同时也为优化大学英语摘要写作教学策略提供了具体而实用的建议,对指导实际教学活动具有重要的意义。This paper investigates 100 English summary writings of second-year English majors, aiming to make practical suggestions for improving the teaching of English summary writing for college students and to provide some data for further exploring the characteristics of college students’ thinking ability. Based on the parameters and scoring criteria of summary writing proposed by Lu Jianmei: objectivity, balance, coherence, completeness, and conciseness, the characteristics and problems of students’ comprehensive summarizing ability are analyzed. It is found that students have a better grasp of objectivity, conciseness and coherence, with objectivity above the medium level, conciseness above the medium level, coherence above the medium level, and a poor grasp of balance and completeness. This finding not only provides an empirical basis for analyzing the characteristics of current college students’ abstract thinking ability, but also provides concrete and practical suggestions for optimizing the teaching strategies of college English abstract writing, which is of great significance in guiding actual teaching activities.
