摘　　要：文章探讨了Investigation on the Relationship between Biodiversity and Linguistic Diversity in China and Its Formation Mechanism和The Ecological Drivers of Variation in Global Language Diversity两篇研究论文,旨在揭示语言多样性与生物多样性之间的相关性及其形成机制。研究表明,在中国特定区域内,语言多样性与生物多样性存在明显的区域正相关关系,这种相关性可能由隔离机制和生物多样性地区资源的丰富性所驱动。全球范围内的研究则发现气候是影响语言多样性的主要因素,而生物多样性与语言多样性之间的关联可能是气候和地貌共同作用的结果。文章指出,尽管两篇论文提供了有价值的研究方法和思路,但在研究方法上仍存在不足,如忽视了中国丰富的民族语言和未充分考虑其他生态因素的协变作用。文章认为,气候和地貌等共同因素可能是导致语言与物种丰富度之间偶然关联的主要原因。This book review discusses two research papers, Investigation on the Relationship between Biodiversity and Linguistic Diversity in China and Its Formation Mechanism and The Ecological Drivers of Variation in Global Language Diversity, aiming to reveal the correlation and formation mechanisms between linguistic diversity and biodiversity. The studies indicate that in a specific region of China, there is a significant positive regional correlation between linguistic diversity and biodiversity, which may be driven by isolation mechanisms and the richness of resources in biodiverse areas. Global research finds that climate is the primary factor affecting linguistic diversity, and the association between biodiversity and linguistic diversity may be a result of the combined effects of climate and landscape. The article points out that despite providing valuable research methods and insights, the papers have methodological shortcomings, such as neglecting the rich ethnic languages in China and not fully considering the covarying effects of
