“三美”理论视角下《无题》英译本赏析

摘  要:李商隐是中国晚唐时期著名诗人,其作品《无题》以其细腻的情感和朦胧的意境著称。这是一首思念之歌,记离别和相思之苦。李商隐以“别”字引起下文,描绘了一对情人分别时的痛苦和思念,表达了深沉相思离别之情。本文以许渊冲译本、卓振英的译本为例,以三美理论为视角,分析不同译者对诗歌意境、语言节奏和情感表达的理解与处理。这种对比分析有助于读者更深入地理解《无题》的内涵与魅力。通过赏析两个译本,读者可以更全面地理解《无题》这首诗歌的意境和美感,同时也能够感受到不同译者的翻译理念和技巧。Li Shangyin was a famous poet in the late Tang Dynasty of China, whose work To One Unnamed is renowned for its delicate emotions and the artistic conception. It is a song of longing, remembering the pain of parting and lovesickness. Li Shangyin uses the word “Farewell” to arouse the following, depicting the pain and longing of a pair of lovers at the time of parting, and expressing the deep feelings of lovesickness and parting. Taking Xu Yuanchong’s translation and Zhuo Zhenying’s translation as examples, this paper analyzes different translators’ understanding of the poem’s mood, language rhythm, and emotional expression from the perspective of the “Three Beauties” Theory. This comparative analysis helps readers gain a deeper understanding of the connotations and charm of To One Unnamed. By appreciating the two translations, readers can more comprehensively grasp the artistic conception and aesthetic appeal of the poem To One Unnamed, while also experiencing the distinct translation philosophies and techniques employed by different translators.
