In view of these properties, the PANI-MoO3//Zn battery exhibits an ultra-high specific capacity of 352 mAh∙g−1 at a current of 1 A∙g−1, with excellent multiplicative performance at when the current density is increased from 1 A∙g−1 to 10 A∙g−1 When the current density is increased from 1 A∙g−1 to 10 A∙g−1, the PANI-MoO3 electrode still maintains a discharge specific capacity of 133 mAh∙g−1 (40% retention), while the MoO3 electrode has a discharge specific capacity of only 72 mAh∙g−1 (29% retention). In addition, there is excellent cycling performance, with the PANI-MoO3//Zn battery showing a 132% improvement in capacity retention over the MoO3//Zn battery after 1000 cycles.
