摘　　要：鸦片战争在中国近代史上的影响重大,相关著述已出版不少。《天朝的崩溃:鸦片战争再研究》的研究可以说是推陈出新。本书是茅海建先生对鸦片战争相关历史问题研究的重要学术成果,也是目前学界普遍认可的本领域研究之集大成者。作者对鸦片战争的研究包含着对以往的研究进行批判的意味,为学界研究鸦片战争提供了新的视角。本文将从《天朝的崩溃:鸦片战争再研究》的主要内容、历史叙事以及此书对传统史观的突破等三个方面展开论述。The Opium War has had a great impact on China’s modern history, and many related works have been published. The study of “The Collapse of China: A Study of the Opium War” can be said to bring forth the new through the old. This book is an important academic achievement of Mr. Mao Haijian’s research on the historical issues related to the Opium War, and is also the epitome of the research in this field generally recognized by the academic community at present. The author’s study of the Opium War contains a criticism of the previous studies and provides a new perspective for the academic community to study the Opium War. This article will discuss from the following three aspects: the main content, historical narration and the breakthrough of the book to the traditional historical view.
