摘　　要：蹇先艾的乡土小说主要是通过对旧贵州自然风物、民风民情、文化心理和乡土精神的展示,将黔北山区原始封闭、落后愚昧的民风民俗鲜明生动地呈现在读者面前,深刻揭示出封建宗法的腐朽黑暗、民众精神状态的愚昧麻木,以及种种社会弊病。其创作具有复杂的驱动因素,其地域书写和苦难叙事造就其创作的文学价值和文学史地位。这既是对文学研究会“为人生”艺术主张的回应,也是对民众的思想启蒙,不仅使他的小说具有很强的现实主义风格,也具有鲜明的乡土文学文体特征。Jian Xian’ai’s local novels mainly present the primitive, closed, backward, and ignorant folk customs in the mountainous areas of northern Guizhou vividly to readers through the display of the natural scenery, folk customs, cultural psychology, and local spirit of old Guizhou, and deeply reveal the decadent darkness of feudal patriarchal system, the ignorance and numbness of the people’s mental state, and various social ills. His creation has complex driving factors, and his regional writing and narrative of suffering create the literary value and literary history status of his creation. This is not only a response to the “for life” artistic proposition of the Literary Research Association but also an ideological enlightenment to the people. It not only gives his novels a strong realistic style but also a distinct local literary style.
