摘　　要：中东地区的石油管道建设在进入21世纪以后,长输管道中金属管材的应用已不是唯一选项。随着材料科学的进步和发展,非金属材料在长输管道建设中进一步得到应用,相比传统金属管线已显示出不俗的优越性。本文将展示中东地区伊拉克、沙特以及阿联酋地区管道项目中非金属和金属管的应用情况,以及实施过程中所展现出的优势和不足之处。In the 21st century, the application of metal pipe is not the only option for oil pipeline construc-tion in the Middle East. With the progress and development of material science, non-metallic ma-terials have been further applied in long-distance pipeline construction, which has shown great superiority compared with traditional metal pipelines. This paper will show the application of non-metal and metal pipes in pipeline projects in Iraq, Saudi Arabia and UAE in the Middle East, as well as the advantages and disadvantages in the implementation process.
