Traditional Chinese Therapy for Elder Waist Pain

摘　　要：中医学认为老年腰痛与老年人的生理性有密切关系，因老人多虚－肾虚与气虚、多瘀－气滞与血瘀，往往因虚、因瘀而致酸痛，或因虚再威受外邪而痛，常形成虚实夹杂的特殊病理现象。Elder waist pain is thought to be related closely with physiology of elders in traditional Chinese medicine because physiques of elders are often vacuity (renal vacuity and qi vacuity) and stagnation (qi stagnation and blood stagnation). Therefore muscular soreness and pain are often caused by vacuity and stagnation or external pathogenic factors caused by vacuity, which would form special complex pathological phenomena combining vacuity and solid of elder physiques.
