中外籍英语教师课堂反馈语对比研究——基于课堂观察的个案分析

摘　　要：通过课堂观察,研究者分别对西南大学荣昌校区一位中籍和外籍英语教师的课堂反馈话语做了记录,对二者在反馈语类型和分布特征上的异同进行了分析比较。研究发现,中外籍教师在课堂反馈语使用上有着各自的特色和优劣:反馈话语是中外籍教师课堂教学师生互动的主导形式之一,两者在课堂反馈中均主要采用话语性反馈方式,促进了学生的语言输出;在评价性反馈方式中,外籍教师运用了更多的肯定反馈,与中籍教师较多使用否定反馈形成了鲜明对比。文章为改进英语教师课堂反馈,促进师生之间的互动与交流提出了有益建议。This case study attempts to analyze the differences of teacher feedback between a native English teacher(NET)and a Chinese English teacher(CET)in Rongchang Campus,Southwest University.Data collected from classroom observation shows that NETs and CETs differ in the use of feedback,revealing both strengths and weaknesses.Feedback serves as one of the most dominant ways for teacher-student interaction;both NETs and CETs prioritize discoursal feedback which increases students’language output;in terms of evaluative feedback,NETs employ more positive forms,which stand in stark contrast to CETs,who mainly use negative feedback.The paper are hoped to shed light on how teachers can provide more effective feedback and enhance interaction with students.
