摘　　要：西北师范大学是中国高等师范教育的重要力量,也是西北地区师范教育的中流砥柱。在120年的办学历程中,特别是在甘肃办学80余年来,不断提升办学治校能力和水平,形成了师范性、民族性、区域性办学特色,为中国高等师范教育体系独立设置作出了重要贡献。在奠基中国西北师范教育的同时,也有效地助力了区域经济社会的建设和发展。Northwest Normal University is an important force of higher teacher education in China,and it is also the mainstay of teacher education in Northwest China.During its 120 years development,especially in Gansu for more than 80 years,it has continuously improved its capability and level of governance,formed teacher-training,national and regional characteristics,and made important contributions to the independent setting of higher teacher education system in China.While laying the foundation of teacher education in Northwest China,it has also effectively contributed to the construction and development of regional economy and society.
