摘　　要：赵仁镕(1911~1992),江苏省吴江县人,著名农业生物统计学家。沈阳农业大学第一批国务院政府特殊津贴获得者,一级教授。他潜心苦读,立志学农,1935年毕业于金陵大学农艺系,1937年获美国明尼苏达大学理学硕士。学成后毅然回国从事农业教育工作,1952年随复旦大学农学院北迁来到沈阳农学院,担任农学首任系主任长达14年,细致入微地开展千头万绪的工作。他牵头成立了全国较早的生物统计教研室,组织开展生物统计与田间设计方面的研究,创新性地提出田间产量统计的直观分析法、单因子试验结果显著性检验简易方法、作物田间试验微型小区设计方案和玉米大面积田间测产方法等。他曾兼任九三学社沈阳农学院支社首任主任委员、沈阳农学院附属中学筹备委员会主任等职务,恪尽职守,厚德至善,日月可鉴。他70岁加入中国共产党,即使身患重病,仍旧拄着拐杖“风雨无阻,逢会必到”。他最终也没有回到江南故土,彻底地将自己融入了挚爱的农桑事业,将热血衷肠奉献给了东北的白山黑水。ZHAO Ren-rong(1911~1992),who was born in Wujiang County,Jiangsu Province,was a famous agricultural biostatistician and a first-grade professor.Professor Zhao is the one of the first experts who obtained State-Council Allowance in Shenyang Agricultural University.Professor Zhao studied hard and determined to study agronomy when he was young.He graduated from the Department of Agronomy of Jinling University in 1935,and obtained a Master of Science from the University of Minnesota in 1937.After graduation,Prefessor Zhang resolutely returned to China to engage in agronomy education and moved northward with Agricultural College of Fudan University to Shenyang Agricultural University in 1952.He served as the first faculty director of agronomy department for 14 years,when he carefully carried out a variety of work.Professor Zhao led the establishment of the early biostatistics teaching and research department in China,and carried out research on biostatistics and field design.He innovatively proposed some professional methods and solutions,which included:intuitive analysis method of field yield statistics,a simple method for the significance test of single factor test results,crop field test micro-plot design scheme and maize large-area field yield measurement methods,etc.Professor Zhao also served as the first director of the Jiu San Society Branch of Shenyang Agricultural University and the director of the preparatory committee of the affiliated middle school of Shenyang Agricultural University,and he tried his best to do all the work.He joined the Communist Party of China at the age of 70,and even when he was seriously ill,he still actively participated in various party activities.In the end,he did not return to his homeland in the south of the Yangtze River.He put all his enthusiasm and energy into his beloved agronomy,and dedicated all his wisdom to the vast land of Northeast China.
