从哈佛到柏林 俞大维研习数理逻辑的知识场景

摘　　要：俞大维在中国数理逻辑史上有两项标竿性成就:(1)他在哈佛大学攻读博士学位时,完成由中国人原创的首篇数理逻辑论文;(2)他在获得博士后去柏林游学,在《数学年刊》(Mathematische Annalen)上发表了中国人在此世界顶级期刊上的首篇论文。本文将由此两篇著作的内容与参考文献,检视俞大维是在何种知识场景中孕育出研究成果。俞大维虽然没有在数理逻辑领域讲学、著书或指导学生,但在中国数理逻辑的发展历程里,应该保有值得肯定的先锋地位。In the history of Chinese mathematical logic,YüTa Wei achieved two significant milestones:(1)while pursuing his doctoral degree at Harvard University,he completed the first original mathematical logic paper authored by a Chinese person;(2)after obtaining his doctorate,he went on a study tour in Berlin and published the first paper by a Chinese individual in the world’s top journal Mathematische Annalen.This article will examine the content and references of these two works to understand the knowledge context in which YüTa Wei produced his research.Although YüTa Wei did not teach,write books,or supervise students in the field of mathematical logic,he should be recognized for his pioneering role in the development of mathematical logic in China.
