摘　　要：既有住宅加装电梯,引发大量矛盾冲突。主要存在安全隐患巨大、资金筹集困难、侵犯相邻权益、高额经济损失等问题。透过这些表面现象,会发现导致这些问题背后的深层次原因,比如巨大市场的推动、误解物权法律、政府角色迷失、司法公正存疑等等。在未来的加装电梯过程中,应当充分尊重业主自治原则,政府部门要制定严格的加装标准,出台合理的补偿方案,正确适用法律进行表决。从长远角度看,这一问题的解决不但需要法律制度的完善,更需要改变传统的养老观念。There are many contradictions with elevator installation in existing residence,such as major security risk,difficulty of financing,infringement of neighboring rights and high economic loss.If we go deep into the phenomenon,we will find the underlying reasons behind which contain huge driving force of market,misunderstanding of the property law,unclear role definition of the government and doubtful judicial fairness.In the future of elevator installation,government are supposed to fully respect the principle of owner autonomy,set strict standard,formulate reasonable compensation plan and properly use law to vote.On a long view,the answer not only depends on the improvement of legal system,but also the transformation of traditional concept of endowment.
