摘  要:At present, with the continuous development of quality education and the reform of the new curriculum, higher standards have been put forward for English teaching in rural primary schools in China. At present, there are some problems in English phonetics education in rural primary schools in China, such as students' phonetic foundation is not good enough and teachers are not enough. These problems have greatly hindered the advancement of English phonetics education in rural primary schools. In this case, improving English pronunciation teaching in rural primary schools has become an urgent problem that must be solved. The purpose of this paper is to prove the key role of English phonetics teaching in rural primary schools. This paper expounds the existing problems in the English phonetic enlightenment education in rural primary schools, analyzes the reasons, and based on these problems and reasons, puts forward some strategies for perfecting the English phonetic enlightenment education in rural primary schools.
