Methods: the patients with chronic wounds treated in our hospital from February 2020 to August 2020 were studied. The total number of patients was 88. The patients were divided into groups according to the random number table. The number of patients in each group was the same. The patients in the reference group received routine nursing, the patients in the observation group received continuous nursing, and the patients in the two groups received nursing intervention. The nursing effects were analyzed and compared, including pain, complications, self-care ability, nursing satisfaction, quality of life and so on. Results: in the observation group, the nursing satisfaction and complication rates were 97.73% and 4.55% respectively, pain score (0.88 ± 0.11), nursing cognition score (85.71 ± 6.88), psychological state in quality of life (17.26 ± 0.88), family support (18.18 ± 0.81), daily life (18.85 ± 0.13) and physiological function (18.85 ± 1.05).The scores of basic knowledge (82.82 ± 7.84) and preventive health care (78.34 ± 7.27) in self-care ability were significantly different between the groups (χ2 = 4.950,5.090, P = 0.026,0.024;t = 11.668, 10.219, 6.560, 6.076, 10.170, 7.882, 7.260, 6.121, P < 0.001).The implementation of continuous nursing intervention for chronic wound patients can improve the degree of pain, improve the nursing cognition, improve the quality of life and self-care ability of patients. The nursing effect is remarkable and has clinical application value.
