摘 要:Objective: to study the effect of case teaching method and role play in psychiatric nursing teaching. Methods: a total of 116 psychiatric nursing students from January 2021 to December 2021 were selected and randomly divided into two groups, 58 in each group. The conventional group was taught by traditional methods, while the experimental group was taught by case method and role play. The application effects were compared. Results: the theoretical knowledge of the experimental group was better than that of the conventional group (p < 0.05), and the scores of each ability of the experimental group were higher than those of the conventional group (p < 0.05). 94.83% of the students think it can improve the communication ability between nursing staff and patients, 93.10% of the students think it can improve the learning interest, 89.66% of the students think it can help them develop independent thinking ability, 88.79% of the students think it can improve their learning initiative and develop their independent learning ability, 86.21% of the students think it can improve their cooperation ability, knowledge understanding and memory. Conclusion: in the process of psychiatric nursing teaching, the use of case teaching method and role play can improve students' interest in learning, help students to improve their own level of understanding of psychiatric nursing, and can be actively applied in nursing teaching.
