Effect of Beclomethasone Atomization Combined with Azithromycin on Pertussis-Like Syndrome in Infants

摘　　要：Objective: to explore the clinical effect of beclomethasone atomization combined with azithromycin in the treatment of pertussis-like syndrome in infants. Methods: from January 2020 to February 2022, 82 infants diagnosed as pertussis-like syndrome in pediatric ward of our hospital were selected as the research objects, and they were randomly divided into control group and intervention group on the premise that there was no difference in the general condition of the patients. The control group was treated with routine pediatric anti-infection and azithromycin comprehensive treatment, while the intervention group was treated with beclomethasone atomization combined with azithromycin comprehensive anti-interference treatment. The effective rate of treatment, relieving time of spasm and cough, disappearance time of positive lung signs and hospitalization time were evaluated by statistical methods. Results: the effective rate of treatment in the intervention group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05), and the relieving time of spasm and cough, the disappearance time of positive lung signs and the hospitalization time were significantly shorter than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: beclomethasone nebulization combined with azithromycin can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and signs of infants with pertussis-like syndrome, which is worthy of clinical application.
